This just in:

KNK Rotary Heralds the Christmas Season with the warm glow of

A Country Christmas”….

This past Friday evening at the Indianola Clubhouse we gathered to have fun and open the Christmas season for the membership. To those who may have been unable to attend, my condolences; you were missed and you missed a time of good food, laughter and fellowship.

We are indebted to Sondra Peters, as in the past, she did all the heavy lifting. If it wasn't for all her days of running around to find a venue, gathering the team to handle all the parts and pieces, and getting all the decorations, lights, and other elements together, the party would never have happened. A special "thank you" to Sondra (and to Skip for his assistance as well) and to the following people:

Don and Sue Hutchins who came to help set up

Helen and Frank Ralph who helped with setup and cleanup

Jessica and Scott Larson, along with Suzanne Jenny, who washed and dried the mound of dishes after the event

To my wife Kathy, who did a little of everything

And to all of you who brought all the delicious food (and wine) along with those always fascinating White Elephant gifts.

I think I speak for everyone when I say that a great time was had by all. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year.  HO, HO, HO and all that stuff…
