What could be more perfect.  Summer August night.  Band.  Beer tent.  Park.  Well Mother Nature had other ideas.  But, the band played on.....

Soul Siren was the featured band at the August 24 Concerts in the Park series in Kingston.  It was 58-degrees.  More than an inch of rain had fallen.  Heavy mist was served for desert. Few concert-goers were there.  But Kingston North Kitsap Rotary Club's Augtoberfest went on as scheduled.

Mostly Rotarians partied under the Bavarian-themed tent shelter.  Organizer Emily Froula sheltered, too.  So too bad her dirndle-inspired efforts were not able to be enjoyed to the fullest.

The beer was cold and served up by Rotarians David and Rae Winn (left) and Brian Stenejhem.

Frank and Helen Ralph were there to sell beverage tickets.  Sales for the night were dramatically off.

Kudos to Kingston North Kitsap Rotarians.  Bring it on.  Again.  Next Augtober.
