The Kingston Ale House has been named “Business of the Year” by the Kingston North Kitsap Rotary Club.  Owner Kim Francisco-Clark gathered her staff in March, 2020, when  Covid’s impact in the community became clear.  She challenged them to figure out a way to help.  Their answer was to feed kids in need.  And that is what the Kingston Ale House did, despite operating only takeout and all the challenges of Covid, the Ale House served North Kitsap Kids who experienced food insecurity as a result of the pandemic.

At the May 26 gathering on the deck of the Ale House to present the award, Francisco-Clark thanked the community for making she and her husband, Tony, feel at home in Kingston.    “We have been here seven years.  We have been so embraced by the community.  It feels like home.”  She immediately went inside the restaurant to share the news with her staff.
