The Kingston North Kitsap Rotary Club Marching Unit performed flawlessly; they then went to work on the annual Ball Race. It was a picture-perfect Independence Day in Kingston.
Adam Amos and David Winn carried the Club banner in the 2024 edition of Kingston's small-town, big-parade. Immediate Past President Doug Hallock, drove his shiny El Camino, prominently featuring Kingston North Kitsap Rotary Club's Rotarian of the Year, Emily Froula.
Following the parade, Rotarians Mark and Kris Libby, and the Rotary crew, went into action to stage the Community Beautification Committee's Annual Ball Race. "Racers" purchase balls that "race" downhill on Central, fighting through a series of pinball like obstacles.
All proceeds support the CBC's annual summer flower baskets program. And this year's winner was:
