Kingston Rotary Receives "Thank You" from the Wheelchair Foundation

The Kingston-North Kitsap Rotary donated $600 to the Wheelchair Foundation to provide wheelchairs to people in need throughout the world. Each chair costs $150.
"We appreciate your efforts in helping the Wheelchair Foundation in its mission to bring independence and dignity to those who have been deprived of mobility by warfare, disease, disaster and advanced age." Kenneth E. Behring, Chairman of the Board of Directors, Wheelchair Foundation.
Keep in mind that we may be able to double our donation if any of your employers has a Matching Gift Program. Please check with your company's personnel department to obtain the necessary forms.
