“It’s great when you read about someone doing a good deed: turning in a wallet, taking an elderly neighbor shopping, etc. These are the kinds of good deeds that take very little effort but can have a lasting, positive effect on both the recipient and the giver. How about doing your good deed today by donating blood?”
We all have families. When a child, parent, sibling, spouse or friend suffers a need for blood, the potential for loss resonates in every close connection. When your blood saves a life, it transforms a family.
Gifted blood can carry a family through tragedy intact, yet altered –not by loss, but by profound gratitude for generous strangers who made sure their blood was ready. The number of appointment slots open reflects the need in our local hospitals and clinics, please help us fill them.
