Kingston North Kitsap Rotarian Mark Libby, the John Muir of North Kitsap, led a work party (party?) of six at Nike Park, Kingston, Saturday, Mar 16.

Rotarians Adam Amas (with shovel) and Bill Beaudoin, put down a yard of gravel to improve a muddy section at Barber Cut Off Road trail entrance.  Libby, the true spirit of trails maintenance around here, reports the party "accomplished the goals set out in the published scope of work: picked up small amount of trash along the trail; put down the gravel; cut back encroaching brush; and removed a huge pile of holly, scotch broom, and ivy."
Six folks participated, including three Rotarians, two students from Kingston High School Interact/Key Club (a Rotary sponsored Club), and one visiting volunteer from the Seattle side.  Libby is the photographer in this image of "the party."
