New Member David Fortune told "his story" to Kingston North Kitsap Rotarians at their Noon meeting, Feb 12.

As part of becoming a member, applicants must give what in Rotary-speak is a "classification talk."
Essentially, that means sharing one's story - history - in front of Club members. Fortune told Rotarians his number 1 job is to be a good father. He has three children; all are in college.
His story begins in Edmonds where he was raised, although his family has a rich history of property ownership on Apple Tree Point in Kingston. It took David some time to figure out what he wanted to do. He studied philosophy at Seattle Pacific, then it was on to Yale Divinity. That wasn't his calling so he studied law at University of Colorado for a year, after which he completed his MBA. He has held high tech jobs since, including six years at HP. He is currently President of a small, global, Toronto-based, tech company called NYMI, which sells biometric identification products.
Welcome David Fortune to Kingston North Kitsap Rotary.
