When the month has five Wednesdays, Kingston North Kitsap Rotarians celebrate the fifth as "Wild Card Wednesday." It was WCW at the home of Bill and Terry Beaudoin April 30.
Our gracious hosts opened their Kingston home to a pot luck no two Clubs could take down. There were no paper plates. Nope. No paper napkins. Nope. First class. The setting, complete with northwest fire pit, was incomparable. Turn out spilled to tables other than the main.
During the get-together Rotarians heard an update on their project to bring a health, recreation, and
YMCA campus to North Kitsap. Jon Rose and Clint Boxman told of two important North Kitsap United (NKU) community meetings in May, on May 20 in Poulsbo, and May 21 in Kingston.
